How is my monthly Direct Debit payment calculated?

Your metered payment amounts are calculated based on an estimated annual bill plus any outstanding balance on your account, divided by the total number of instalments due.

As a general rule customers living in metered properties have arrangements over 12 months and those in unmetered properties have payment arrangements set over 10 months.
