Do I have to have a smart meter?
Metered customers
If you are a metered customer, we will upgrade your meter to a smart meter.
You can choose to view your smart data online and access information to help you save water and money. We won’t make any changes to your billing arrangements.
Unmetered customers
If you are an unmetered customer, you will continue paying unmetered charges. We will still install a smart meter outside your home as it will help us detect leaks. It will also give you the option of easily switching to metered charges if you want to in the future, which could save you money.
